First-visit questions
Do I need a referral?
No. Florida allows direct access to physical therapy and chiropractic care. Some plans require a physician referral for PT after 30 days; we check before your visit.
What should I wear?
Clothes you can move in. Shorts for hip, knee and ankle problems; a tank top for neck and shoulder problems.
How long is each visit?
The evaluation is 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are 45 minutes, one on one, never double-booked.
How many visits will I need?
Most people need 6 to 10 over 4 to 8 weeks. We tell you our estimate at the first visit and update it as you progress.
Will an adjustment hurt?
It shouldn’t. Most people feel pressure and relief. If you’d rather not be adjusted, we use slower mobilization instead.
